Carly AI Pricing and Carly AI Cost per Seat With Credit Add-Ons
Carly is an AI executive assistant (the company was called CalBot) that handles email, calendars, outreach and scheduled tasks. The seat price is simple. The credit ladder on top of it is where the real bill is decided, and third-party directories still disagree on whether the price is monthly or annual. We read usecarly.com/pricing and its credit FAQ on October 19, 2026 and priced it for real workloads.

Carly AI costs $35 a month on the Personal plan and $35 per seat a month on the Organization plan. Personal includes 200 credits a month and Organization a pooled allowance. More credits are prepaid add-ons from $30 a month for 200 extra credits up to $1,450 a month for 15,000. A Free plan at $0 covers MCP access, 10 workflows and a calendar view but no custom agents. Enterprise is quoted.

Carly AI pricing by plan, read from usecarly.com/pricing on October 19, 2026
| Plan | Price | Who it covers | Credits included | Main limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 a month | One user | None listed | MCP access, 10 workflows, calendar view and task manager, no custom agents |
| Personal | $35 a month | One user | 200 a month | Unlimited emails and calendars, custom agents, add-ons from $30 |
| Organization | $35 per seat a month | Every team member | Pooled allowance, size not printed | Shared agents and skills, team admin, add-ons from $30 |
| Enterprise | Custom, by call | Whole company | Contracted | Own email domain, custom branding, advanced security |
The challenge
The $35 headline hides a wide range. Carly meters agent work in credits, publishes no formula for what a task costs, and its own FAQ tells heavy users to buy the 7,500 credit add-on, which takes one person from $35 to $860 a month. Directories also list the $35 as billed annually, while Carly's pricing page shows one monthly price with no annual toggle.
How AgentMarketplace handles it
Price Carly in two passes. First count seats: Personal is one person, Organization is $35 for every member. Then estimate credits from what you will actually run. Deterministic workflows and email sending are free, AI steps inside workflows cost 0.025 credits each, and recurring scheduled agent tasks are what burn the allowance. If the work is one shared inbox or a team process, compare a per-seat assistant with a flat-priced agent that the whole team shares.
How much does Carly AI cost?
Carly AI costs $35 a month for one person on the Personal plan and $35 per seat a month on the Organization plan. Both prices are shown with "/month" on usecarly.com/pricing, and the page has no annual billing toggle or annual discount. That is $420 a year for one person and $420 per seat per year for a team. Enterprise is priced on a call.
Some directories describe the $35 as "billed annually". Carly's own pricing page does not say that, and its page description reads "AI agents from $35/month. Organization at $35 per seat/month." We use the vendor's wording here and treat $35 as a plain monthly price.
| What you buy | Monthly price | Per year | What it includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Carly from Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client, 10 Zapier-style workflows, a multi-calendar view for Google and Microsoft, a task manager |
| Personal | $35 | $420 | Custom agents with their own name, email and permissions, thousands of app integrations, custom skills, scheduled tasks, memory, unlimited emails and calendars, 200 credits a month, dedicated human support |
| Organization | $35 per seat | $420 per seat | Everything in Personal plus shared agents and skills, admin controls, team task management, automatic CRM updates, pooled credits with per-member usage, centralized billing |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Agents on your own email domain, custom branding, advanced security and compliance |
Two things on the Organization card are not in the $35. Business SMS and calling and the AI receptionist are add-ons billed separately from seats, and Carly asks you to book a call to set them up. No price is published for either.
Carly AI pricing plans compared on what each tier gets
The line that decides most purchases is simple. The Free plan gives you workflows and a calendar view but no agent of your own. The Personal plan is the full assistant for one person. Organization is the same assistant shared across a team, with one credit bucket and one bill.

Carly works with both Google and Microsoft calendars and mailboxes on every paid plan, and it speaks 80-plus languages. Unlike drafts-only assistants, Carly sends email itself: it reaches out, coordinates times with people outside your company and follows up, and sending email from its own account costs no credits.
How Carly AI credits work and what one credit costs
Credits are how Carly estimates the work its agents do. The more complex the job, the more credits it uses, and Carly says plainly that there is no exact formula, because an agent can write its own code to turn a 100-action request into one action. What Carly does publish is the price of more credits, and that lets you work out a per-credit cost.
| Personal plan credits a month | Add-on price | Total monthly bill | Cost per add-on credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 200 (included) | $0 | $35 | Included |
| 400 | +$30 | $65 | $0.150 |
| 700 | +$75 | $110 | $0.150 |
| 2,200 | +$260 | $295 | $0.130 |
| 5,200 | +$575 | $610 | $0.115 |
| 7,700 | +$825 | $860 | $0.110 |
| 10,200 | +$1,050 | $1,085 | $0.105 |
| 15,200 | +$1,450 | $1,485 | About $0.097 |
The last column is our arithmetic: the add-on price divided by the extra credits it buys. The Organization plan sells the same add-ons at the same prices (+200 credits for $30 up to +15,000 for $1,450) into its pooled bucket. Volume brings the rate down by about a third from the first step to the last.
Several things cost nothing at all. Carly lists four: an agent sending email from its own account, deterministic workflows with no AI step, and every Carly tool call made from Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client. When a workflow does use AI, to summarize, classify or draft, each call costs a flat 0.025 credits however much text it reads. That is 40 AI steps per credit, so the 200 included credits cover 8,000 AI workflow steps a month, and at the $0.15 add-on rate one AI step costs well under half a cent.
How many Carly credits do you need?
For workflows, very few. For agents that run recurring tasks on their own, potentially thousands. Carly's FAQ prices its own workflow examples, and every one of them fits inside the included 200 credits.
| Workflow, from Carly's FAQ | Volume | Credits a month |
|---|---|---|
| Summarize overnight email into a morning digest | 1 AI call a day | About 0.75 |
| Classify customer email as urgent or routine and label it | 20 emails a day | About 15 |
| Research meeting attendees and email a briefing | 4 meetings a day | About 3 |
| Turn emails into Asana tasks with an AI title and summary | 10 emails a day | About 7.5 |
| File email attachments into the right client folder in Drive | 5 attachments a day | About 3.75 |
| Research new leads, draft a follow-up and log them to HubSpot | 10 leads a day | About 7.5 |
Run all six at once and you use roughly 38 credits a month. The allowance goes somewhere else. Carly's guidance says people spend the most credits in their first month, because setup is credit-intensive, and that recurring scheduled tasks are "the biggest eater of credits". It recommends running recurring tasks no more than daily and moving anything repeatable into a workflow instead.
So the honest way to size Carly is to start on Personal, watch the burn for a month after setup, and buy the add-on that matches your steady state. Credits are prepaid, and Carly states there is no auto-charge: if you run out, you buy more, and nothing is billed that you did not choose.
What Carly costs with the credit add-on it recommends
One line in Carly's FAQ changes the budget for heavy users: "If you want to use Carly without worrying about credits, we recommend the 7,500 credit/mo add-on." On the Personal plan that add-on is $825 a month, so the setup Carly itself suggests for carefree use costs $860 a month for one person, or $10,320 a year.
| How you use Carly | Likely setup | Monthly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workflows and occasional agent requests | Personal, included 200 credits | $35 | $420 |
| Daily scheduled briefings and regular outreach | Personal plus 500 credits | $110 | $1,320 |
| An agent running several recurring tasks every day | Personal plus 2,000 credits | $295 | $3,540 |
| Carly's own "without worrying about credits" advice | Personal plus 7,500 credits | $860 | $10,320 |
The middle rows are our estimates of where typical usage lands, not Carly figures; only the prices are Carly's. The point is the spread. The same product is a $420 a year tool or a five-figure line item depending on how many autonomous recurring tasks you give it, so set a credit budget before you hand the agent standing instructions.
What Carly costs a team of 3, 5, 10 and 25
The Organization plan charges $35 for every seat, so the base bill grows in a straight line. These are our calculations on Carly's published price, before any credit add-ons.
| Team size | Monthly | Yearly | Plus 2,000 pooled credits a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 people | $105 | $1,260 | $4,380 a year |
| 5 people | $175 | $2,100 | $5,220 a year |
| 10 people | $350 | $4,200 | $7,320 a year |
| 25 people | $875 | $10,500 | $13,620 a year |
Carly does not print how large the included pooled allowance is per seat, so we left it out and priced add-ons on top. The useful part of Organization is that one bucket serves everyone and the admin sees usage per member, so a few heavy users do not force everyone onto a bigger add-on. Shared agents also mean you build an agent once and the whole team uses it, instead of each person paying for and configuring their own.
Is Carly AI free?
Partly. Carly has a Free plan at $0 a month with MCP access, 10 Zapier-style workflows, a full multi-calendar view across Google and Microsoft, and a task manager. It does not include custom agents, scheduled tasks, outreach or the executive-assistant features, which start on Personal at $35. The pricing page does not advertise a free trial of the paid plans.
The Free plan has one genuinely useful detail for teams that already pay for Claude or ChatGPT. Carly states that tool calls made through its MCP connector cost no credits, so you can drive Carly's calendar and workflow tools from an assistant you already use. It is a sensible way to test whether Carly fits your calendar before paying for an agent.
Carly AI pricing compared with other AI assistants
Carly competes with inbox assistants, email clients and agent builders, and they all bill differently. This table uses each vendor's own pricing page for the entry plan a small team would buy.
| Tool | Entry price | How it bills | Sends email for you | 5 people for a year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Carly Organization | $35 per seat a month | Per seat, pooled credits, add-ons from $30 | Yes | $2,100 |
| Fyxer Pro | $37 a month annual, $49 monthly | Per seat, 3,000 credits each | No, drafts only | $2,220 |
| Lindy Team | $29.99 a month per active user | Per active user, 3,000 credits each, pooled, top-ups $10 per 1,000 | Yes | $1,799.40 |
| Superhuman Mail Business | $33 a month annual, $40 monthly | Per member, a full email client | Yes, if you choose | $1,980 |
| Marblism, 50 hours yearly | $24 a month | One plan, unlimited team members, hours of work | No, drafts only | $288 |
| AgentMarketplace Starter | $24 a month yearly, $49 monthly | Per plan, up to 3 agents, no seat charge | Drafts for one-click send, or sends where you allow it | $288 |
Carly and Lindy are read from their pricing pages on October 19, 2026, Fyxer and Superhuman on October 15 and Marblism on October 14. Lindy's entry price is $29.99 for 3,000 credits per active user, and 5,000 credits is the $49.99 step of its ladder. Carly's per-credit add-on rate ($0.097 to $0.15) is about ten to fifteen times Lindy's $0.01 top-up rate, but the two vendors define a credit differently, so compare workloads, not credit counts. For Fyxer's full credit table see Fyxer pricing, and for Marblism's hour tiers see Marblism pricing.
Is Carly AI worth it for a small business?
Carly is worth it when one person's day is run by email and calendar, and the work is coordination with people outside the company: booking meetings across time zones, chasing replies, running multi-person scheduling threads. At $420 a year, one saved hour a week pays for Personal many times over, and its ability to send and follow up on its own is a real step beyond drafts-only assistants.
It gets expensive in two cases. The first is heavy autonomous use, where recurring tasks push you onto credit add-ons and Carly's own carefree recommendation costs $860 a month. The second is team work that belongs to a shared inbox or a process rather than to one person, where every member is another $35 seat.
That second case is where a ready-made agent is the cheaper buy. In our catalog the Inbox Triage agent sorts and labels a shared Gmail inbox, drafts replies for one-click send and routes the rest to the right person in Slack, the Interview Coordinator reads calendar availability and sends interview invitations, and the Meeting Scribe turns call transcripts into notes and follow-ups. The Starter plan is $49 a month, or $288 for the year, for up to 3 deployed agents, with the whole team invited at no seat charge and no credits to buy. Our agents are built for team processes, not as a personal executive assistant, so if what you want is someone to run your own calendar and outreach, Carly is the better fit.
