v0 Pricing and Vercel v0 Pricing per User With v0 Credits Explained

v0 by Vercel prices each person, then meters the work in dollars of credit. Every paid seat comes with $30 of credit a month, and every prompt spends some of it at a published per-token rate that changes about 45 times between the cheapest and the most expensive model. This page prices every v0 plan from Vercel's own pricing page and v0 docs, read on October 2, 2026, and works out what a message, a seat and a team actually cost.

In short

v0 has five plans. Free costs $0 with $5 of monthly credits and a limit of 7 messages a day. Plus costs $30 per user a month and Business costs $100 per user a month, and both include $30 of monthly credits per user plus $2 of free daily credits on login. Enterprise is custom priced and adds SAML SSO and role-based access. The old $20 Premium plan is closed to new users, so a new solo buyer starts at $30. Unused monthly credits roll over and expire after 65 days.

The challenge

Most v0 pricing guides list the plan prices and stop. That leaves out three things that decide the bill. First, the $20 Premium plan that many articles still recommend is being sunset and is not sold to new users, so the real entry price is $30. Second, Business costs $70 more per user than Plus but includes exactly the same $30 of credits; what you pay for is training opt-out by default and data opt-out, which is $8,400 a year for a 10-person team. Third, the credit you get is denominated in dollars, so how far $30 goes depends entirely on the model you pick and how much project context v0 sends with each prompt.

How AgentMarketplace handles it

Price v0 the way it meters. Count the people who will prompt v0, since every one of them needs a seat. Decide whether your company policy requires training opt-out by default, because that alone decides Plus or Business. Then estimate how many generations each person runs a month and on which model, using the per-message estimates below, and compare that with the $30 of included credit plus the daily login credits. If the team runs past it, budget extra credits, which on Plus and Business go into a shared pool that lasts a year. If you need SSO, you are pricing Enterprise.

How much does v0 cost?

v0 costs $30 per user a month on Plus and $100 per user a month on Business. Free is $0, and Enterprise is quoted by Vercel's sales team. The Premium plan at $20 a month still appears in Vercel's docs, but the docs also say it "is in the process of being sunsetted and is no longer available to new users." If you are signing up today, the cheapest paid plan you can buy is Plus at $30.

All v0 prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which Vercel calculates from your billing address and adds to the invoice. The pricing page lists monthly prices only; there is no annual discount shown for v0 plans. Billing runs through your Vercel account, so the invoice appears in the Vercel dashboard rather than in v0 itself.

PlanOne person, per year5 people, per year10 people, per year
Plus$360$1,800$3,600
Business$1,200$6,000$12,000
Difference$840$4,200$8,400

One extra charge catches teams by surprise. Vercel's team docs say that if you already have a Vercel Hobby account, any new team you create for v0 Plus also requires a Vercel Pro subscription, "an additional $20/mo cost that does not grant additional v0 capabilities." A 10-person Plus team in that position pays $320 a month, not $300.

How do v0 credits work?

v0 credits work like a prepaid dollar balance. Each paid seat gets a monthly allowance ($30 on Plus and Business), and every generation draws from it at the token rate of the model you chose. When the balance hits zero, generation pauses until the allowance renews or you buy more credits. The rules that matter for budgeting, all from v0's pricing docs:

  • Monthly credits are per person. On Plus, Business and Enterprise, each member's monthly $30 stays with that member. It is not pooled across the team.
  • Purchased credits are shared. Extra credits bought on a team plan go into a Shared Credit Pool, which members draw from only after their own monthly credits run out.
  • Monthly credits roll over, but not for long. Unused monthly credits carry into the next billing cycle and expire 65 days after they were granted.
  • Purchased credits last a year. They expire one year after purchase, stay in your balance if the subscription lapses, but need an active paid plan to use.
  • Daily login credits. Plus and Business add $2 of free credits per user each day the person logs in. Over 22 working days that is up to $44 a month on top of the $30, if the person logs in and uses v0 daily.

Two details push token use up more than buyers expect. v0 counts everything it sends to the model as input, including chat history, your source files and Vercel-specific knowledge, so a short prompt in a large project can still cost tens of thousands of input tokens. And v0 bills cached context at a much lower rate than fresh input, which is why long sessions in the same chat cost less per message than starting new chats.

v0 model pricing per million tokens

v0 publishes a rate for each of its four models, in US dollars per million tokens. These are the rates your credits are spent at:

ModelInputCache writeCache readOutput
v0 Mini$0.20$0.25$0.02$1.20
v0 Pro$2$2.50$0.20$10
v0 Max$5$6.25$0.50$25
v0 Max Fast$10$12.50$1$50

Vercel describes v0 Pro as the balanced default for most tasks, v0 Max as the model for complex work, and Max Fast as Max with 2.5 times faster output. The price gap is large: output on Max Fast costs 5 times Pro and about 42 times Mini. Model choice moves the bill more than any plan decision.

What one v0 message costs by model

Vercel does not publish a cost per message, because it depends on project size. To make the rates usable, we priced a typical mid-sized generation: 40,000 tokens of context, of which 30,000 are served from cache and 10,000 are fresh input, plus 4,000 tokens of output. These are our estimates from Vercel's published rates, not Vercel figures, and they leave out cache writes:

ModelEstimated cost per messageMessages covered by $30 of credit
v0 MiniAbout $0.007About 4,000
v0 ProAbout $0.07About 450
v0 MaxAbout $0.17About 180
v0 Max FastAbout $0.33About 90

The same message with no cache (a new chat on the same project) costs about $0.12 on v0 Pro, so starting fresh chats roughly halves how far your credit goes. A designer who runs 20 Pro generations a working day uses about 440 messages a month, which the $30 allowance plus daily login credits covers. The same person on Max for everything would run out in about two weeks.

v0 Plus vs Business, what the extra $70 buys

v0 Plus and Business include the same $30 of monthly credit per user, the same $2 daily login credit, the same model access and the same collaboration features. The difference is data handling. Business turns training opt-out on by default and adds data opt-out, which Plus does not have. Vercel describes Business as the plan "for privacy conscious teams."

FeaturePlus, $30 per userBusiness, $100 per userEnterprise, custom
Monthly credits per user$30$30Custom
Shared projects and credit poolYesYesYes

Training opt-out by defaultNoYesYes, data never used for training
Data opt-outNoYesYes
SAML SSONoNoYes
Priority access, no queuesNoNoYes

So the buying question is simple. If your security policy or a client contract says your code and prompts must not be used for model training, you are on Business at minimum, and the privacy setting costs $70 per person per month. If it does not, Plus gives every person the same building capacity for less than a third of the price. A team that also needs SSO skips both and prices Enterprise.

Is v0 free?

v0 has a Free plan with $5 of credits a month and a hard limit of 7 messages a day. It can deploy apps to Vercel, edit visually in Design Mode and sync with GitHub, so it is enough to judge whether v0 fits your stack. It is not enough to build a working product: at 7 messages a day you will hit the cap during the first real session. Vercel's docs also note that the Free signup allowance follows the current offer on the pricing page and may be one-time rather than monthly, so check your billing settings for the exact terms.

Can you use a ChatGPT subscription with v0?

Yes, partly. ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers can connect their ChatGPT account in v0's billing settings so that eligible responses from supported OpenAI models are covered by the ChatGPT plan instead of v0 credits. Image generation and editing, delegated subagents and some supporting agent work may still use v0 credits. When you reach your ChatGPT limit, v0 pauses and saves progress rather than switching to v0 credits automatically. For a developer who already pays for ChatGPT, this is the cheapest way to stretch a v0 seat.

What a team really pays for v0

Every person who prompts v0 needs a seat, so team cost scales with headcount first and usage second. Three typical US teams, priced at list:

TeamPlanMonthly costIncluded credits a month
Solo founder building a landing page and MVP front endPlus$30$30, plus up to about $44 in daily login credits
Product team of 5 at a startup, no data restrictionsPlus$150 (or $170 with a required Vercel Pro team)$150 across the team, not pooled
Agency of 10 with client confidentiality termsBusiness$1,000$300 across the team, not pooled

Hosting is a separate bill. v0 deploys to Vercel, and Vercel charges for hosting on its own plans; Vercel's free Hobby tier is limited to personal, non-commercial use, so a business app usually sits on a paid Vercel plan as well.

v0 pricing compared with Lovable, Bolt, Base44 and Cursor

v0 is the only app builder in this group that pairs per-seat pricing with a dollar-denominated credit. Here is how the entry and team prices line up, from each vendor's own pricing page:

ToolEntry paid plan10 builders, per monthHow it metersSSO
v0 by VercelPlus $30 per user$300 Plus, $1,000 BusinessDollar credits at per-token model ratesEnterprise only
LovablePro $25 a month, 100 creditsFrom $200 (800 shared credits, unlimited members)Credits per build actionBusiness, from $50 a month
BoltPro $25 a month, 10M tokens$300 on TeamsTokens, unused tokens roll overEnterprise only
Base44Starter $16 a month billed annuallyNo seats, workspace plan from $40Message credits plus integration creditsEnterprise only
CursorPro $20 a month$400 on Teams ($320 annual)Seat plus usageIncluded on Teams

v0 wins on transparency: it is the only one that publishes exact per-token rates, so you can predict cost before you build. It loses on team price against the workspace-priced builders. For the full side-by-side, see our Lovable pricing guide, the Base44 pricing page and the Cursor pricing breakdown.

When a ready-made AI agent costs less than building on v0

v0 is built for interfaces: landing pages, dashboards and the front end of a product. Teams also use it to put together small internal tools that automate one recurring job, such as a lead intake form that enriches and routes leads, or a page that pulls invoices into a sheet. The build is quick. What follows is a stream of credit spend every time someone asks v0 to change it, plus hosting, plus the work of wiring up the back end.

If the job you are automating already exists as a product, a ready-made agent is usually the cheaper path. Agents on AgentMarketplace start at $49 a month flat, connect to the tools you already use with permissions you can revoke, and do not bill per token. Browse the agent catalog by the job first, and keep v0 for the interface you are actually shipping to customers. If you are still choosing a builder, our Lovable alternatives price comparison prices v0 next to Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Base44 and Cursor for a 10-person team.

Frequently asked

Your questions about v0 pricing

How much does v0 cost per month?

v0 costs $30 per user a month on Plus and $100 per user a month on Business, and both include $30 of monthly credits per user. Free is $0 with $5 of credits and 7 messages a day. Enterprise is custom priced. The older $20 Premium plan is no longer available to new users.

Is v0 worth paying for?

v0 is worth paying for if your app will run on Vercel and front-end quality is the priority, because it generates production React and Next.js code and deploys it in one step. Plus at $30 per user is the practical plan for most teams. It is a weaker fit if you need a full back end built for you or a single flat team price.

What are v0 credits?

v0 credits are a prepaid dollar balance. Plus and Business include $30 per user a month, and each generation spends credit at the published token rate of the model you choose, from $1.20 per million output tokens on v0 Mini to $50 on v0 Max Fast. When credits run out, generation pauses until they renew or you buy more.

Do v0 credits roll over?

Yes, for a short time. Unused monthly credits roll over to the next billing cycle and expire 65 days after they were granted. Purchased credits expire one year after purchase and stay in your balance if your subscription lapses, but you need an active paid plan to use them.

What is the difference between v0 Plus and v0 Business?

Plus and Business include the same $30 of monthly credit per user, the same models and the same team features. Business costs $70 more per user per month and adds training opt-out by default and data opt-out. Choose Business when your policy or a client contract forbids training on your prompts and code.

Does v0 have SSO?

SAML SSO is only available on v0 Enterprise, which is custom priced through Vercel sales. Enterprise also adds role-based access control with Builder, Creator and Viewer roles, priority access with no queues and guaranteed support SLAs. Plus and Business do not include SSO.

Is v0 cheaper than Lovable?

For one person, Lovable Pro at $25 a month is slightly cheaper than v0 Plus at $30. For a team, Lovable is usually much cheaper because it has no seat fee and allows unlimited members on a shared credit plan, while v0 charges every person $30 or $100 a month. v0 is the only one of the two that publishes per-token rates.

What happened to the v0 Premium plan?

v0 Premium at $20 a month is being sunset. Vercel's docs say it is no longer available to new users, so existing subscribers keep it for now while new buyers start on Plus at $30 per user. Premium includes $20 of monthly credits and no team features.
