Google Antigravity Pricing and Antigravity Cost per Developer for Teams
Google Antigravity has no price of its own. You pay for it through a Google AI subscription as an individual, or through Gemini Enterprise as a company, and those two routes come with different terms, models and admin controls. We read Google's Antigravity pricing page, its plans, models and enterprise docs on October 8, 2026, and priced a 10-developer team both ways.

Google Antigravity costs $0 a month on the individual tier with a weekly quota. Paid capacity comes from Google AI plans: Pro at $19.99 a month, Ultra 5x at $99.99 and Ultra 20x at $199.99 (US list), with quotas that refresh every five hours up to a weekly limit. Companies buy it through Gemini Enterprise, where Google lists Standard and Plus seats from $30 per seat per month, or a pay-as-you-go plan with a $0 seat fee. Overage on Pro and Ultra is paid with AI credits.

The challenge
Most Antigravity pricing pages were written at launch, when the top tier was a single $249.99 Ultra plan and everything else was free. Google has since split Ultra into 5x and 20x tiers, opened a business route through Gemini Enterprise and moved Gemini CLI users onto Antigravity CLI. A manager who budgets from an old page ends up comparing the wrong numbers, and usually misses that personal Google AI plans run under consumer terms rather than Google Cloud terms.
How AgentMarketplace handles it
Decide on terms first, then on quota. If your developers write company code and you need admin controls, spend caps and Google Cloud data terms, buy through Gemini Enterprise and do not hand out personal subscriptions. If you are a small team or contractors on personal accounts, start everyone on Google AI Pro at $19.99, turn AI credit overages off, and only move the people who hit the five-hour limit every day to Ultra 5x.
How much does Google Antigravity cost?
Google Antigravity costs nothing to download and use on the individual tier. Anything beyond that free weekly quota is bought through a Google AI plan, not through Antigravity itself: Google AI Pro at $19.99 a month, Google AI Ultra 5x at $99.99 and Google AI Ultra 20x at $199.99. Google's Antigravity pricing page shows the $0 tier, then sends you to Google AI plans for Pro and Ultra, and to sales or the Gemini Enterprise console for business use.
Google renders plan prices by location, so third-party guides quoting different numbers are often reading a different country's page. The figures here are the US list. Here is what each personal plan adds up to over a year, and how much Google Cloud credit comes with it through the Google Developer Program:
| Google AI plan | Per month | Per year | Antigravity usage on Google's plan table | Monthly Google Cloud credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google AI Plus | $4.99 | $59.88 | Limited | None |
| Google AI Pro | $19.99 | $239.88 | Expanded | $10 |
| Google AI Ultra 5x | $99.99 | $1,199.88 | Higher | $40 |
| Google AI Ultra 20x | $199.99 | $2,399.88 | Highest | $100 |
Two details change the math. First, Google AI Plus shares the free tier's model list and Google rates its Antigravity usage as Limited, so it adds little for coding. Second, the Cloud credits are real money if your team already pays a Google Cloud bill: a Pro subscriber who spends the full $10 a month on Gemini API calls or Cloud Run is paying about $9.99 net for Antigravity.
Is Google Antigravity free?
Yes, for individuals. Google lists the individual tier at $0 a month with access to several agent models, unlimited Tab completions, unlimited command requests and basic weekly rate limits. The free quota refreshes once a week, and when it runs out you wait. There is no way to buy AI credits on the free tier.
What free does not give you matters more to a business buyer than the quota. Free and Google AI Plus users get the Gemini models and, until November 2, 2026, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS-120b. They do not get Claude Sonnet 5.5 or Claude Opus 5.5, which Google reserves for paid Pro (non-trial) and Ultra subscriptions. And every personal tier, free or paid, runs under terms derived from Google's consumer Terms of Service, not Google Cloud terms. That is fine for a side project. It is a problem for company source code.
Antigravity cost for a team of 10 developers
Most US engineering managers price coding tools for a team, so here is a 10-developer team at list price. The Antigravity rows use the two routes Google offers; the other rows are the tools a team usually compares it against, using the prices on our Cursor pricing, Claude Code pricing and Gemini Code Assist pricing pages.
| Setup for 10 developers | Per month | Per year | Admin controls and company terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| Antigravity on 10 Google AI Pro subscriptions | $199.90 | $2,398.80 | No, personal accounts |
| Antigravity on 8 Pro and 2 Ultra 5x subscriptions | $359.90 | $4,318.80 | No, personal accounts |
| Antigravity on 10 Ultra 5x subscriptions | $999.90 | $11,998.80 | No, personal accounts |
| Antigravity through Gemini Enterprise, 10 seats from $30 | From $300 | From $3,600 | Yes, Google Cloud terms |
| Antigravity through Gemini Enterprise pay as you go | $0 in seat fees plus usage | Usage only | Yes, Google Cloud terms |
| Cursor Teams, Standard seats | $400 ($320 annual) | $3,840 to $4,800 | Yes |
| Claude Team, Standard seats with Claude Code | $250 ($200 annual) | $2,400 to $3,000 | Yes |
| Gemini Code Assist Standard, annual | $190 | $2,280 | Yes, Google Cloud terms |
On paper, ten Pro subscriptions are the cheapest way to put Antigravity in front of a team. In practice that setup has no central billing, no admin console and no Google Cloud data terms, so most companies with a security review end up on the Gemini Enterprise row. From $30 a seat it lands between Claude Team and Cursor Teams, and it is the only Antigravity route with spend caps that cover both API and subscription usage.
What happens when you run out of Antigravity quota?
On the free tier you wait for the weekly refresh. On Google AI Pro and Ultra you choose what happens through a setting called AI Credit Overages. Set it to Never and Antigravity stops using that model until the five-hour quota refreshes. Set it to Always and it spends purchased AI credits (or one-time promotional credits) when the baseline quota is gone, then switches back to the included quota once it refreshes.
Google's plans doc says AI credits are consumed at standard Gemini Enterprise consumption pricing, and Google does not publish a fixed number of prompts per credit, because quota tracks the amount of work the agent does rather than the number of messages. Users on Google's developer forum report credit packs starting at $24.99 for 2,500 credits, about one cent per credit. Treat that as reported, not as a Google rate card.
For a team on personal plans, the safe default is Never. One long session on a large model can spend a meaningful share of a credit pack, and with personal accounts there is no admin dashboard to catch it. In the Antigravity CLI the same control is the useG1Credits setting, and the status line shows the remaining credit count.
Antigravity for business through Gemini Enterprise
Companies do not buy a separate Antigravity license. They connect Antigravity to Gemini Enterprise in one of two ways: a Gemini Enterprise Standard or Plus license, which brings included quotas, managed overages and central admin controls, or a Google Cloud project and API key, which bills on consumption with no seat fee. Google lists the seat plans from $30 per seat per month. The $21 Gemini Business edition is not one of the plans Google names for Antigravity.
- Supported surfaces. Antigravity 2.0, the Antigravity CLI and the IDE extensions for VS Code and Visual Studio, with JetBrains, Zed and Xcode in preview. The standalone Antigravity IDE is not supported for enterprise deployments yet.
- Identity. Developers sign in with a business account through SSO and the license tier is detected automatically. Bring-your-own-identity through Workforce Identity Federation works with providers such as Okta, and Application Default Credentials cover headless and CI use.
- Data. Sessions run under the Google Cloud Terms of Service, with VPC Service Controls and regional data residency. Telemetry and model interactions are logged to the Google Cloud project tied to the selected license.
- Models. The enterprise route serves Gemini models only. Claude and GPT-OSS models in Antigravity are available on personal Pro and Ultra plans, not through Gemini Enterprise.
Pricing for the seat plans is covered in detail on our Gemini Enterprise pricing breakdown, including which edition carries which quotas.
Which models each Antigravity plan includes
| Model | Free and Google AI Plus | Google AI Pro | Google AI Ultra | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gemini 3.8 Flash, 3.7 Flash, 3.6 Flash | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Gemini 3.1 Pro | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Claude Opus 5.5 (thinking) | No | Yes, non-trial subscriptions only | Yes | No |
| Claude Sonnet 4.6 and Claude Opus 4.6 (thinking) | Yes, until November 2, 2026 | Yes, until November 2, 2026 | No | No |
| GPT-OSS-120b | Yes, until November 2, 2026 | Yes, until November 2, 2026 | Yes, until November 2, 2026 | No |
Gemini and third-party models draw on separate quotas, each with its own five-hour and weekly limit, which you can watch on the Settings page or with the usage command in the CLI. Antigravity also uses Nano Banana 2 behind the scenes for UI mockups and diagrams; that model is not selectable.
Is Google AI Ultra worth it for Antigravity?
Ultra 5x costs exactly five times Pro for five times the quota, so it buys capacity without a discount. Ultra 20x is the one with a volume break: twenty times the Pro quota for ten times the price, which halves the cost of each unit of usage. Count the Cloud credits and the gap widens. Net of credits, Pro costs $9.99, Ultra 5x $59.99 and Ultra 20x $99.99 a month.
| Plan | Quota versus Pro | Price | Price per Pro-sized unit | Net of Cloud credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google AI Pro | 1x | $19.99 | $19.99 | $9.99 |
| Google AI Ultra 5x | 5x | $99.99 | $20.00 | $59.99 |
| Google AI Ultra 20x | 20x | $199.99 | $10.00 | $99.99 |
The rule that falls out of this: buy Ultra 5x only for a developer who is blocked by the Pro limit several times a day and does not need more, and skip straight to Ultra 20x for anyone running agents most of the day. A developer who hits the five-hour Pro limit once a week is cheaper on Pro with a small credit pack.
Antigravity pricing after the Gemini CLI change
Much of today's Antigravity demand comes from former Gemini CLI users. On June 18, 2026 Google stopped serving Gemini CLI and the Gemini Code Assist IDE extensions to free individual users and to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, and pointed them to Antigravity CLI. Gemini CLI still runs on Gemini Code Assist Standard and Enterprise licenses and on paid API keys.
So a team that used Gemini CLI on personal Pro plans now has a choice: keep the same $19.99 subscriptions and move to Antigravity CLI, or buy Gemini Code Assist Standard at $19 a seat on an annual term and stay on Gemini CLI under Google Cloud terms. The second option costs less per seat and comes with admin controls, the first gets you Claude models in the agent. Our Gemini Code Assist vs GitHub Copilot pricing comparison runs the same team math for the seat route.
The coding work that should not burn Antigravity quota
Antigravity's quota tracks how much work the agent does, so repetitive jobs cost the same as creative ones. Reviewing every pull request against a checklist, triaging incoming bug reports and keeping API docs current are the jobs that quietly eat five-hour limits and push developers onto Ultra.
Those jobs already exist as ready-made agents. The coding agents in our agent catalog, including a pull request reviewer, a bug triager and a docs writer, connect to GitHub with permissions you can revoke and cost a flat monthly price from $49, with no credits and no rate limit. Move the recurring work there, then size Antigravity plans for the developers who are actually building.
Frequently asked
Your questions about Google Antigravity pricing
Is Google Antigravity free?
Yes for individuals. The individual tier costs $0 a month and includes Gemini models, unlimited Tab completions, unlimited command requests and a weekly quota. When the weekly quota runs out you wait for the refresh, because AI credits cannot be bought on the free tier. Paid Claude 5.5 models need Google AI Pro or Ultra.
How much is Google Antigravity Pro?
Antigravity Pro is Google AI Pro, which costs $19.99 a month in the US. It raises the Antigravity quota to one that refreshes every five hours up to a weekly limit, adds Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5 on non-trial subscriptions, lets you buy AI credits for overage and includes $10 a month in Google Cloud credits.
How much does Antigravity Ultra cost?
Google AI Ultra comes in two US tiers: Ultra 5x at $99.99 a month with five times the Pro quota, and Ultra 20x at $199.99 with twenty times. Both refresh every five hours and include Google Cloud credits, $40 and $100 a month. The older single $249.99 Ultra plan was replaced by these two tiers.
Can a company buy Antigravity for a team?
Yes, through Gemini Enterprise. A Standard or Plus license, listed from $30 per seat per month, adds included quotas, managed overages and central admin controls under Google Cloud terms. A pay-as-you-go option has a $0 seat fee and bills consumption. Google does not offer custom organizational tiers on personal plans.
What are Antigravity AI credits?
AI credits pay for usage above the included quota on Google AI Pro and Ultra. They are consumed at Gemini Enterprise consumption pricing and only spent when the AI Credit Overages setting is Always. Users report packs from $24.99 for 2,500 credits. Free tier users cannot buy them.
Is Antigravity cheaper than Cursor?
For individuals, roughly the same: Google AI Pro is $19.99 and Cursor Pro is $20. For teams with admin controls, Gemini Enterprise seats start at $30 a month against $40 for a Cursor Teams Standard seat ($32 annual). Ten personal Pro plans are cheaper still at $199.90, but without central billing or company terms.
Can I use my own API key in Antigravity?
Not on personal plans. Google says Antigravity does not support bring-your-own-key or bring-your-own-endpoint for extra rate limits. Companies can connect a Google Cloud project with the Gemini Enterprise API enabled and pay on consumption, which is the closest equivalent to running on your own key.
Does Antigravity replace Gemini CLI?
For personal accounts, yes. Since June 18, 2026 free users and Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers use Antigravity CLI instead of Gemini CLI. Gemini CLI keeps working on Gemini Code Assist Standard and Enterprise licenses, from $19 a seat a month on an annual term, and on paid Gemini API keys.
