The short answer: the AWS equivalent of Google Agentspace is Amazon Quick Suite, and the Microsoft equivalent is Microsoft 365 Copilot paired with Agent 365 for governance. Agentspace itself was renamed Gemini Enterprise on October 9, 2025. AWS announced Quick Suite the same day, absorbing Amazon Q Business into it. All three products do the same three things: permissions-aware search across your company data, a chat assistant grounded in that data, and a governed catalog of AI agents. Where they genuinely differ is the billing unit. Google charges per seat and bills compute separately. AWS charges per seat plus a flat $250 per account per month plus metered agent hours. Microsoft charges per seat plus metered Copilot Credits that do not roll over.

If you are searching for an Agentspace equivalent, you are almost certainly doing vendor selection rather than research, so here is the map first.

The October 9, 2025 collision is not a coincidence worth reading too much into, but it does tell you something useful: two of the three hyperscalers decided within hours of each other that their enterprise AI assistant needed a new name and a bigger scope. This category is about eighteen months old and the naming is still moving. Expect to re-check product names before you write a requirements document.

What is the AWS equivalent of Google Agentspace?

Amazon Quick Suite. AWS announced it on October 9, 2025 as an agentic AI workspace and folded the existing Amazon Q Business and QuickSight products into it. It bundles six components: Quick Sight for business intelligence, Quick Flows and Quick Automate for workflow automation, Quick Index for the data layer, Quick Research, and Apps in Quick. AWS has since shortened the name to Amazon Quick in places, which is one more naming wrinkle to watch for on a quote.

Functionally it lines up with Gemini Enterprise closely. It connects to internal company data and third-party tools including Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft 365 and Adobe Analytics, answers questions across them, and runs agents that take action rather than only retrieving text.

The pricing is where it stops looking familiar. AWS publishes it openly, which already sets it apart from Google.

Overages run at $3 per additional agent hour and $5 per GB per month beyond the pooled index allocation. AWS offers a 30-day Enterprise trial with the account fee waived for up to 25 users.

The $250 per account per month is the number to pay attention to, because nothing in the Google or Microsoft models resembles it. It is a fixed floor of $3,000 a year before a single person logs in. On a 10-seat pilot at $20 a head, that fee is larger than the entire seat bill. At 500 seats it is a rounding error. So AWS is either the most expensive option in the category or the cheapest, depending entirely on how many people you are deploying to, and the crossover happens surprisingly high up.

One live caveat: Amazon Q Business, the predecessor, has been reported as closing to new customers in mid-2026, with existing users pointed at Quick. If you are evaluating anything that still carries the Q Business name on a proposal, confirm which product you are actually buying.

What is the Microsoft equivalent of Google Agentspace?

Microsoft splits the job across two SKUs, which is the main structural difference from Google and AWS.

Microsoft 365 Copilot, at $30 per user per month, is the assistant and search layer. It grounds answers in your tenant: SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive. If your company documents already live in Microsoft 365, this is the shortest path to the same outcome Agentspace was built for, because the indexing problem is largely already solved.

Agent 365, at $15.00 per user per month on an annual commitment, is the governance layer: the registry, identity and admin controls for the agents themselves. It is the closest analogue to the governance side of Gemini Enterprise, and it has one genuinely useful property that neither competitor matches. Microsoft states that "Viewing all agents in the Microsoft 365 admin center doesn't require a specific license," and an admin needs only the AI Reader role. So you can inventory every agent already running in your tenant, and find out who owns them, before spending anything. If your actual first problem is discovering shadow AI rather than deploying new agents, that is a real advantage and it costs nothing.

Agent work itself is metered in Copilot Credits, sold at roughly $0.008 each in packs of 25,000 for $200. Two properties of that meter matter more than the unit price: credits do not roll over month to month, and Microsoft enforces a hard ceiling at 125% of your provisioned capacity, at which point custom agents stop. Spiky workloads get punished at both ends, paying for unused credits in quiet months and hitting a wall in busy ones. What each one actually costs at your headcount

Headline seat prices are close enough across the three vendors to be useless as a decision input. The structure around the seat is what moves the invoice. The table below applies published AWS and Microsoft list prices, and the Google figures most consistently reported by Google Cloud partners, to three headcounts. Treat it as a shape rather than a quote.

All figures are per month and exclude usage metering, which is where the real variance lives. Google bills compute consumption separately against your linked Google Cloud account. AWS bills agent hours beyond the included allocation. Microsoft bills credits. None of those three lines is predictable from headcount alone, which is why a pilot with real usage data is worth more than any amount of spreadsheet modeling.

Read the table left to right and the pattern is clear. At small scale AWS is the most expensive of the three because of the account fee, and Microsoft with full governance ties it. At 100 users AWS becomes the cheapest and stays there. Microsoft is the most expensive at every size once you add Agent 365, and you are buying something the other two do not sell separately.

The edition trap on the Google side

One thing to check before you use the Google column above. Google's published edition comparison shows that the entry-level Business edition, capped at "1-500 users," is the only edition with no check against "Access the Agent Marketplace," and the only one that does not "Access the full data connector ecosystem." It also lacks Code Assist Standard, Data Insights, priority model access, and the row marked "Enterprise-grade security and compliance."

That matters because Business is the cheapest Google seat at roughly $21, and it is the one most likely to appear on a first quote for a mid-sized company. How to choose between them

After pricing all three, the decision usually comes down to four questions, in this order.

Where do your documents actually live? This decides it more often than anything else. Every one of these products is a search index with an assistant on top, and the index is only as good as its reach into your systems. If your corpus is SharePoint and Teams, Microsoft starts with an enormous head start. If it is Drive and Google Cloud, so does Google. If your analytical data is in Redshift and S3, AWS does.

How many people, really? Not how many people have an opinion about it, how many will have a licence in month three. Below about 25 users, the AWS account fee dominates and Google Business or Copilot alone are cheaper. Above 100, AWS pulls ahead and stays there.

Is your usage steady or spiky? Microsoft's credit model with no rollover and a 125% cliff punishes variable workloads hardest. AWS meters hours with straightforward overage pricing. Google pushes the variance into Cloud consumption, which is the least predictable of the three but also the most familiar if you already run Google Cloud.

Do you need to govern agents you did not build? This is the question that pushes buyers to Microsoft, because Agent 365 exists as a product and the others fold governance into the platform. Whichever way it lands, get the edition, the metering unit and the account fees written into the quote itself rather than agreed in an email thread. Enterprise AI pricing is moving fast enough that a proposal written two quarters ago may not describe the product you are buying, and the details that decide your bill are exactly the ones that get lost between a sales conversation and the purchase order that finally goes out.

When none of the three is the right purchase

All three of these products are platforms. You buy a seat licence, connect your data sources, index them, set up an approval workflow, and then agents become possible. That is the correct shape when you have a large document corpus, strict permissions and hundreds of people who currently answer questions by searching four systems by hand.

It is the wrong shape when you want one specific job done. Buying Gemini Enterprise, Quick Suite or Copilot to get a single working agent means buying an indexing project and a governance layer in order to reach something you could have deployed directly. Which one has the best agent catalog?

Google and Microsoft both run governed catalogs with admin approval queues, and Google's Agent Gallery absorbed more than 80 partner-built agents from the Agent Marketplace in April 2026. The important caveat on the Google side is that the entry-level Business edition cannot access the Agent Marketplace at all, so catalog access depends on which edition you buy rather than on the vendor alone.

Can I run more than one of these at once?

Yes, and large organizations increasingly do. Microsoft Agent 365's registry can sync agents in from other platforms including Google's, so a dual-stack estate is supported rather than improvised. The practical caution is that the sync is manual and the documented permission sets are not read-only, so treat it as a governance tool that needs its own review rather than a neutral observer.

Does Google Agentspace still exist?

No. Google renamed it Gemini Enterprise on October 9, 2025, and cloud.google.com/agentspace now returns a 301 redirect to the Gemini Enterprise page. Existing deployments carried over, and Google Cloud partners have reported that Agentspace contracts move onto Gemini Enterprise at renewal. Confirm your own dates with your account team, since Google has not published a standalone customer migration notice.
